Glen Schofield, Dead Space`s original creatorhas tweeted that he`s thrilled to watch the newly announced remake.
Following the unveiling of a Dead Space remake at EA Play, Glen Schofield took to Twitter to react to the game. Schofield is among the major designers behind Dead Space. Fans were hoping for a positive response from him, given what happened when he worked on Visceral Games.

A Twitter user pointed out that the trailer also references Schofield. A part of the schematics that hang on the wall reads “Schofield Tools”A reference to Schofield that has been used numerous times in Dead Space titles.
EA Motive replied to the Tweet with the following message “You have paved the way for us, Glen. We look forward to the Callisto Protocol, too. EA Motive is referring to The Callisto Protocol, a game created by Schofield and Striking Distance that`s set in the PUBG universe. The project is backed by former Visceral Games players working on it, and wears its Dead Space influence pretty clearly on its sleeve.
Fans have been eager to find out the opinions of the old Visceral Games employees on the topic of a Dead Space remake since the studio was shut down following Dead Space 3 and some fans feel it`s insensitive to the original team to reinvent their work and display it as EA listening to the fans.
Glen wasn`t even the sole member of Visceral Games to react to the trailer. Steve Papoutsis, franchise directortold the press that EA Motive Studio had announced Dead Space. I hope that you enjoyed the process as much this game as I have, and I look forward to seeing it at launch.
